This is an opportunity to join the high performing & fast paced Impulse Grocery team. With annual sales in excess of £1.7bn, the team is at the forefront of the Agenda for Trading. This is a high profile & exciting buying position, responsible for the seasonal aspect of Confectionery – a £370m turnover department in total. The role provides a great opportunity for an experienced buyer ready for a new challenge. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Own each seasonal event from planning the strategy through to delivering the sales & profit.
- Build a sell for less plan around each event that will provide outstanding value for the customer and a differentiated offer to the rest of the market.
- Ensure every event delivers market leading growth in volume and value
- Manage an effective supply base unlocking buy for less investment to enable us to deliver our plans.
- Manage inputs such as pricing and inbound service targets
- Work closely with marketing and the product teams to drive NPD and continually improve product quality
