| Description: |
Part of the Productivity Team, based in Asda House you will be primarily responsible for producing annual wage budgets for stores and providing updates each quarter. You will be a member of a small team, looking after a number of different store departments. Working with Business Units in Asda House and store Colleagues you will be instrumental in delivering process improvements and accurate forecasts for your departments. In addition there will be an element of supporting the Wages Help Desk function and providing pertinent Wage information for up and coming New Stores on an as and when basis.You will need to be extremely customer focused and be prepared to spend at least two days out in store per week. |
| Responsibilities: |
• Shaping the annual Business Plan for wages to ensure that the stores have the right hours in place through the year
• Networking with Business Units in Asda House to understand how process improvements and efficiencies can support their development
• Ensuring that the department models are maintained and up to date taking into account process change and innovation,
• Identifying and removing areas of inefficiency within the model and providing solutions
• Working with stores to understand opportunities for increasing efficiency
• Supporting the Wages Help Desk function
• Supporting New stores through pre opening

| Requirements and Qualifications: |
• Have store experience/ retail awareness.
• An understanding of the stores wage planning tools such as Wage Forecasting, People Planner, Contract Base etc.
• Intermediate standard on Excel, Access and Visio would be an advantage.
